Mentioned in Homers Iliad over 3000 years ago. It was one of the ‘cities’ that was promised to Achilles if he went to Troy to help bring back the beautiful Hellen. In fact, a civilised settlement has existed here for over 5000 years. It is a beautiful place where history, mythology, unique architecture and beauty entwine.

The evening starts with a guided tour around the historic old town and hearing more of the secrets and myths of the place. It is a beautiful and extremely picturesque place that is a little bit like a hidden secret. If you ask you will find that many locals have not taken the short walk to experience it. Make sure you have your camera ready as the views of the sea and the mountains are spectacular.

Following the tour you will have free time to explore the new town with its numerous gift and boutique shops. Enjoy a nice meal out in the numerous tavernas and have a drink in the local square watching the world go by.
